Netball positions

WHAT ARE POSITIONS?

Netball is a sport with seven people on each team. Each player has a different bib with either GK, GD, WD, C, WA, GA and GS. This is repeated for the other team. These positions decide where you can play on court.

DEFENDERS AND ATTAKERS

GK, GD AND WD are all defenders, they prevent the other teams attakers from getting the ball and shooting into the hoop. C, WA, GA and GS are all attakers. These players must play the ball down to their hoop and score, avoiding the other teams defenders.
